Yes, its time for a "this year speech" wheyyy!
How emotional and sentimental and reminiscent it is!
:D

This year:

I've matured so much more.
I've become a nicer person.
I cut some chords that I should have done a long time ago.
I finally decided what my thoughts are on people.
I no longer care about what others think.
I'm confident.
I joined a theatre company.
I've been on stage more than ever.
I'm finally 16 but that didn't turn out to be so great.
I figured out some sort of direction for my life.
I took a lot of pictures.
I've enjoyed myself.
I had a good summer.
I discovered who my friends were.
I drank a lot of hot chocolate.
I redecorated my room.
I kept in contact with people that left school.
I had a good year.
I grew up...

Oh and merry christmas.

Today, Mum and I trotted along to the Kayos AGM meeting and had a lot of cakes and stuff. Basically it was just about Kayos' funding, Barclay and the new director, the next musical and the comittee, it was a change from normal rehearsals. After the parents left, we had a few games of random things before going home. I think, as I perviously said to Thomas, the games at kayos really are helping everyone; they help boost confidence and also everyone is kinda getting closer. On that note quote of the day:

Lauren: "Yeah, today was a bit of a waste.... At least we'll all be friends!"

:D

I found it funny at the time. Written down, it sounds a bit cheesy, like something out of high school musical or something.
:P

14, 490 words for nanowrimo. I'm 510 words behind schedule.

P.s learned how to play the first verse fo Fidelity on keyboard, today.

NaNoWriMo and that

Okay so lately I've been busy. Sure, it's been with school and whatnot but also with NaNoWriMo, or national novel writing month. Basically its an event, of sorts, in which participants try and write a 50,000 word novel in a month. It's harder than you think. So I'm on like, what? 12 thousand words just now? I'm actually behind schedule as I should be on about 13.5k, I think. Anyway here's an excerpt from it

I have halloween hiccups

Okay. it's like ten to seven as I am typing this. It's halloween and I'm currently waiting for Cara to come over so we can have a nice wee night in being fat and watching movies. Tomorrow night I'm off to Rachel-Annes house for a party then sunday I have kayos and then it's back to monday for a week of school.
Hurrah.

This week went by so slowly. I had loads of tests and stuff in school: An english essay on monday; A history essay on wednesday; A biology nab on thursday and a maths supplementary test today.
Also drama was awful! We had to run through our scripts to show what we've acheived so far: FAIL!
Nobody knew lines, props were fecked up and it was a bit of a disaster. Afterwards I went in town with a few drama people and went a wee wander (lots of laughs) before catchnig an over-crowded bus home.

P.S possible options for the next kayos show: Into the woods (my personal favourite), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Sweeney Todd.

I'm not too fussed but I like Into the Woods best.
:D

Oh and another thing!

Okay the nights are getting dark, leaves are falling from the trees and it's about the time everyone else is hyped up for halloween.  Yes, at this point I get excited about christmas. I actually cannot wait. I just love early nights and warm cups of tea snuggled up in my duvet way before I go to sleep. :D
Also, I think I mgiht buy an ipod nano with my E.M.A bonus in January! YUSSSSS!

Loli's birthday on friday. Looking forward to it. Then going out on saturday with Gerry for a catch-up.
:D

p.s I haven't used moods or music on a lj entry in foreverrrrr.

Okay, the last couple of days have been amazing so I guess the best place to start a story is at the beginning, right?
So friday night, Gregory's Girl went really really really well. Had a pure laugh and that. Hung out with Sambo and Kim and the gang at the bar afterwords, which was pure good.
Saturday went just as well and after the show Mary and Margaret bought everyone Pizza which was awffy nice of them. At this stage we didn't have anywhere to go for aftershow party so everyone was jsut planning on splitting up and offskying to red, so I decided to head home, however, Rachel-Annes mum offered her house for a wee party so we headed there for a good laugh. After a lot of shenanigans at Rachel-Annes we headed for Joyras and continued the party there.
I ended up heading home at about 3:30 which wasn't too bad.
So today I got up at 11 and lay about for a bit before getting ready and heading to the spinnaker and having a meal with a large chuck of the cast which was fantastic.
Kayos starst again a week today, pure looking forward to it.

Now that's you up to date. For the next three days I am devoted to scenery and I'll need to start chiseling away at a pile of homework.

:)

Recently I keep clicking "post new entry" on lj and never typing anything or getting half way through a post and scrapping it.

On friday we get put into groups at drama and I was so fucking chuffed with our wee group: Me, Bethany, Melissa, Courtney and Lauren-Beau. It's amazing. Our theme is gender so we decided to do a sort of marriage storyline. I have to write a rough script about a first date for friday. :/

Today I was gonig to go out for a bit but Gerry is working, Loli is Euan-ing and Cara is out for teh day, if I'm not mistaken. So I ended up gonig to the shop and spending shitloads of food.
:)

I have nothing else for interest to say...

I mgiht buy a chippie tonight...

Witty title and that

So I've been uber* busy lately.  I've been so busy at school with homework and whatnot.

School hasn't been bad, per se, but It hasn't been good either. It's just one of those things I do because I just do; like brushing my teeth or putting on my glasses in the morning or something. Lunches have been either really really really really shite or really really really hilarious. There's like no in between. We either have really funny lunches or really bad lunches.

Gregorys Girl looks spectacular. I mean, SPECTACULAR. Since Margaret and Mary took over it's been really good and the show is becoming as funny, if not funnier, than when we first read it. I've been busy with that too due to sunday rehearsals along with tuesday and thursday rehearsals. It's been so exciting** though. On tuesday we rehearsed the football match, football trials and cooking class scenes and they are fucking hilarious. Anna got really scared when Chris got really carried away with the part.
:D
So yeah, come see Gregory's Girl***

This week I have awards night. That is all.
:)

Over and out.

*I decided to start saying Uber again. :)
**I keep saying so exciting.

Today was fantastic.
Christy and I got to the gathering early to find that there was (coincidentally) a alcohol and drugs awareness gig thing on in George square. Due to this we received rubber ducks, multiple helium balloons, various leaflets, a few pencils and a bookmark. We also learned about fire safety, thanks to an incredibly realistic movie.
:|

Everyone was really awesome, I'd name them but I forget/don't know half of their names. We went to the apple store to make a blgo and we met a random oxfam dude who was awesome (i'll be gutted if he doesn't subscribe to meeee), we went to a food court and put tables together (la vie boheme style), we danced down buchanan street and shouted loudly, we signed a balloon and let it go, we met Keith (from Joseph) and talked to him for a bit, we stood in central station for ages, we cheered for a great baand called raintown and did various other fun activities.

That's all folks.

P.S I have major deja vu.

13 days

I think it's been about 13(-ish) days since my last entry.
So here's a nice list of what has happened recently.
  • School and college have been good. A lot of work and whatnot but it's been good
  • I started video blogging on youtube
  • Scenery has started. Christy, Calum and I are making a wishing well
  • Cara headed off to Rome for a while
  • Gribben is leaving soon
  • Not seen Gerry in ages
  • Rehearsals for pantomime have been fun/weird
  • I've been getting loads of good gossip lately
  • Hollyoaks is so excitinggggggg!!!!!!
  • On saturday (tomorrow) I'm going up to Glasgow for a youtube gathering*
  • The Sponsored walk was today**

* Yeh, I'm like so excited. Christy and I are heading up to Glasgow to meet other people from youtube. It's so exciting. And of course, before you ask, it's in like the middle of George square and a lot of peopel are gonig so it's perfectly safe and no rape-age or attack-age or kidnap-age will be happening. :D

** My feet hurt. I started the walk withm Christy. By the time I was out the gate I was with Megan. when we were up at the wee school up from us, I was with Monica. I walked the first hilly, muddy bit with Kirsten. I walekd a good few miles with Claire and Gary. After I decided they were gonig too slow I caught up with Mairead and Samantha. Or Mhazz (I nicknamed her that) and Sambo. We had a good wee laugh and then for the last like half mile we jogged and sang really loudly. Personally the best sogns were umbrella and valerie. :D

That's all folks.

Auditions

Okay, so I have a bit of a headache. Auditions for pantomime were okay consider more people turned up to "help" than to actually audition. But I came home watched hollyoaks then slept from 7 until 8:45. I just feel like crap.
Drama starts tomorrow, well excited.
That's all.

Over and Out.

My productive day.

  • Aug. 23rd, 2008 at 10:33 PM
green, eggs, ham
Today I woke up, got ready, took the dog out, went on the comptuer, got food, watched tv, went back on computer, watched tv, did the dishes, went back on the computer and made a lj entry.
: |
It wasn't actually a bad day. It wasn't particularly good either.
I assume tomorrow will be even less productive as it's sunday and that means kayos. I will, msot likely, succeed in wasting about 4 quid on dinner and bus fares only to get to Kayos, do nothing then come home. On the bright side I might find out what I actually need to wear for my costume. That's about it. Like, really, we've not been doing much at Kayos, no one has been dedicated to Gregory's girl.
:/

Oh well.
Drama starts next week, hooray! Well looking forward to it. Should be dead good. I wonder who will be in my class, I think that's what I'm looking forward to most.
School has been hectic/ Lots of homework, every night but it's been alright. It's kept me busy. My body however disagress after doing f.a for six weeks then suddenly doing a lot of work. Not good.
Break and lunch have been odd. Why? Well because, it's not felt weird at all. I expected when I came back to school that I would walk around the corner each break and lunch and expect to see everyone there. However I don't expect this at all. Breaks and Lunches have been fun for the first time in about a year. It's sort of nice....

Over and out, I guess.

Waking up at half 1 and being late for school

  • Aug. 14th, 2008 at 10:17 PM
green, eggs, ham
So I was woken up this morning by the sound of the phone ringing. I thought that it was about 11 and decided to let the phone keep ringing until someone picked it up. When the ringing did not stop, I jumped out of bed to grab the phone. Upon answering the phone I found out that it was Cara. I also found out it was about half one and that I was supposed to be at school to pick my subjects.

So after half an hour to get ready and about 20 minutes to get to Cara's, I felt like I was still sleeping. At school we had a nice chat to Mr.Watt and picked my subjects, went on a hunt for Mr.Grimes and just headed out. We went a nice walk around the dam and then headed home.

Tonight I've done f.a
That is all, I guess...

Out with Geraldine tomorrow. Kayos on Sunday. Back to school on Monday. Sorta mixed feeling. Kayos weekday rehearsals start next week. Probably helping out with Panto before the end of the month. hmmm...

Over and out.

Phoning Cara by accident

  • Aug. 11th, 2008 at 9:59 PM
green, eggs, ham
Okay so today has been alright.
I slept in til 2 and woke up to watch desperate housewives. I got ready then my mum came in and told me the car was fixed (thank God).
I decided I would go out for a while and thought I should phone Loli. So I picked up the phone and typed in the number. Cara's Number. Why? I don't know.
I hung up and sure enough two seconds later Cara called. Cara and I chatted for a while and then I phoned Loli.
I went over for Loli at about half three and we headed for town. We went to a few random shops, printed out some photos then headed for tesco for juice.
I came out of tesco with a notebook, glue, and pens.
:/
So I decided I'm going to make a scrapbook of our old group.
On that note if anybody has any photos they don't mind me cutting up, please tell me.
Also if anybody has a full cast list of AGYG and Oliver, please comment and give me it, thanks.

Over & out.

Family came back to mien after meal.
Catherine (mums cousin) was over from ireland for the first time in ages.
Twas good seeing her.

Twas alright.
Everyone is sick of Gregory's girl.
Weeknight rehearsals starting next week.So maybe spirits will improve?

Discovered Melissa is taking higher drama too.
Nice to see some familiar faces.

Well I'm tired cause I was awoken this morning to my family getting ready for work.
So I ended up getting up dead early too.
So it's sunday.
Which means the first (proper) rehearsal for Kayos.
I pure don't know my lines.
And it also means more rounders, hopefully.
Basically, Kayos has taken to palying rounders every weekend and it's been good.
but currently?
It's very wet.
: (
So rounders is most likely canceled.
Gutter.
Yesterday, I had another day to myself so I played the playstation for most of the day then watched tv for a bit and then lg15 finale, which has me all hyped up for the new series.
That's all really.
I better head off to learn my lines.

Over and out.
